A note From the Founder
I have always been drawn to the question beneath the surface.
Why do we gather the way we do?
Why do some objects become sacred while others are discarded?
Why does loneliness feel sharper in some seasons than others?
Anthropology offered me a lens. It showed me that very little about human life is random. Our smallest behaviors are patterned. They are responses to uncertainty, to longing, to the need to belong.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something else. Understanding people is one thing. Feeling connected to them is another. The Curious Post was born from the desire to hold both and a letter felt like the right form.
The Curious Post is my attempt to write home from the field — to share observations and to gently ask what they reveal. Each month explores one thread of human life and invites a small act of reflection or connection in return.
In a world of endless scrolling, I wanted to make something you wait for. Something you hold, read slowly. Something that reminds you that your own patterns are part of a much larger human story.
Thank you for being here. I’m grateful to be writing to you.
